Vida Health
I led the mental health content portfolio for Vida Health, a personalized health coaching service. I worked directly with clinical staff to develop educational content that represented the users we served.
In addition to writing all in-app lesson content, I wrote educational video scripts and co-produced award-winning in-app videos. We also included transcripts for all of our videos to meet our accessibility, localization, and plain language standards. Any member of Vida Health’s program received these lessons and videos.
I wrote the script and led creative direction for an animated video explaining the fundamentals of CBT, partnering with an animator and motion designer.
The anti-stigma framing resonated with members and helped establish a faster, video-first storytelling model. Therapists could send the video ahead of sessions instead of spending time explaining core concepts, and lesson completion rates in the app increased 3×.

Kaiser Permanente is recognized as one of America’s leading health care providers and not-for-profit health plans, currently serving 11.8 million members in eight states and the District of Columbia.
I wrote these articles to highlight Kaiser Permanente’s commitment to total health. I worked closely with physician leaders to showcase impactful programs for members and the broader community, and interviewed members directly to share their personal health journeys and how KP supported their care.
